FRAMATOME

  • Development of training and emergency response drills for the Object Shelter and contracting organizations.
  • Development of instruction and guidance papers (for instructor and trainee), textbooks and methodologies.


NUKEM

  • Industrial Complex for Solid Radwaste Management:
  • Retrieval Facility for Solid Wastes (RFSW, Lot 1) and Solid Waste Processing Facility (SWPF, Lot 2);
  • Engineered Near-Surface Disposal Facility for low- and intermediate-level short-lived radioactive waste (ENSDF, Lot 3). Development of safety analysis reports and environmental impact statements at the design and construction stages;
  • Interim storage of 3rd Cagetory solid waste and LIL-LLW atLSWSF IS Lot 0). Development of safety analysis reports;
  • Scientific and technical support in approving documents by expert organizations and regulatory authorities.

  • OS IAMRS Design Basis. Definition of technical requirements and design criteria;

  • Object Shelter integrated automated radiation monitoring system (OS IARMS):
  • Analysis and feasibility study based on the regulatory bodiescomments on the conceptual design for IARMS and preliminary safety analysis report.
  • Object Shelter field studies. Implementation of engineering studies (field studies) for development of working documentation of the system, initial data clarification for equipment installation drawings.
  • Development of the explanatory note for OS IARMS detailed design.
  • Development of layout plans for equipment and cable penetrations.
  • Safety assessment. Development of the safety assessment for the system demonstrating that during installation, adjustment of the system the nuclear and radiation safety requirements are met and during OS IARMS operation will comply with nuclear and radiation safety requirements.

SNRI of Ukraine

  • Analysis of radioactive waste management at Ukrainian NPPs and ISC Radon and entry in the national radioactive waste management database as a constituent part of the IAEA international database
  • NPP RW management system upgrading.


ALSTOM Power Service

  • Object Shelter physical protection system (OS PPS):
  • Safety assessment. Development of the safety assessment demonstrating that the system under design can meet nuclear and radiation safety requirements during installation, commissioning and operation of the system as well.

SERCO ASSURANCE

  • Safety analysis report on ChNPP spent fuel shipment.


SSE Chernobyl NPP

  • Object Shelter safety status report. Development of the Object Shelter safety status report as the basis for the New Safe Confinement safety analysis report (NSC SAR) and Object Shelter and / or its part incorporated in the specific project and the basis for relevant sections of the NSC Sanitary Compliance Report and NSC Environmental Impact Statement.
  • Development of the NSC CS-1 Concept Design Safety Document.


NOVARKA

  • Development of requirements of NLA and ND of Ukraine on nuclear and radiation safety, risk assessment, radioactive and non-radioactive waste for NSC CS-1.
  • Preparation of materials for specific chapters and sections of CDSD based on the NSC CD.
